Assistant Professor Matt Wallin teaches digital technologies to students in the Department of Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth Unversity’s School of the Arts. He was hired by the School of the Arts in 2006 to teach 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, game design and animation using Autodesk Maya, Unity 3D, Mudbox, ZBrush and Modo as well as 2D compositing and animation with Nuke, Shake & After Effects.  Wallin has designed and taught courses in the history and practice of computer graphics CGI, digital image processing, visual effects, story, concept art, character design, game design, game theory, web design and computer programming.
